TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN – Mr Andria Muharami Fitra

It gives me pleasure to write in support of Andria Muharami Fitra. My overall impression of Mr Muharami Fitra is a person who strives to do the best he can professionally, personally and in helping others within the time available to him. I have been particularly impressed with the way he has gone about undertaking the AIESEC Internship and the project we put him on to review the Student Clubs/Groups of the Faculty of Built Environment and Engineering (BEE), to make recommendations on how they could work better as a group for their benefit and the benefit of BEE and recommend a structure to enable them to work better.

He has been proactive, persuasive, and creative in his presenting the case for the implementation of the recommendations he made. Mr Muharami Fitra was very hard working and a pleasure to work with on the project. He undertook the project very professionally rapidly taking ownership of the project and accepting the empowerment that we gave him – this is not an easy undertaking given the cultural background that he has. I was highly impressed at the way he managed the project, his interpersonal reaction with the people in the various student societies, the job he did and the impact it had on his own development.

He finished the project with developed confidence and developed intercultural skills. Professionally Mr Muharami Fitra is excellent to work with. I have found in my dealings with him that he exhibits leadership qualities, negotiating skills, people management abilities, strength of character and determination. He worked well in facilitating meetings of the groups assisting in getting the groups to work together and consulting widely with them. He gives of his time unselfishly and he handles people with compassion and feeling. He has a great ability to understand people and is a good listener. On a personal Mr Muharami Fitra is engaging and very easy to work with and relate to. He has an engaging outward going personality and is a person you can relax easily with. I have found him a challenging and interesting person to talk with. Mr Muharami Fitra has a strong commitment to develop himself, his career and to broaden his horizons.

I believe that Mr Muharami Fitra will be an excellent future employee and I strongly recommend him to you. He has set very high goals for himself and a position that challenges him will aid his development and aspirations. I believe that he has very high potential and in the future to play a senior role in a company, academia or in Government.
